My name is Roberto Paolini, but as an artist, I am known as Pithos. I come from the town of Cerveteri.
Though a small town by modern standards, it was once one of the most illustrious and important cities of the Etruscan Dodecapolis.
Since childhood, I was always fascinated by the figures and designs depicted on the ancient vases in the museum of my home town. Driven by passion and love for my homeland, I began my journey of pottery reproduction at the age of 13. For years I continued to develop my passion, until finally, in 2017, I took a leap forward and launched Pithos Ancient Reproductions.
